1.Our Policy

Meta International Movers Ltd. (“Meta”, “we”, “us”, “our”) recognises the importance of your privacy and maintaining the confidentiality of your personal information. This Privacy Policy applies to all products and services provided by us and sets out how we may collect, use and disclose your personal information. We pledge to comply with the requirements of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) (the “HK Privacy Ordinance”) in Hong Kong and the Macau Personal Data Protection Act (Law 8/2005) (“Macau Privacy Act”) in Macau. In doing so, we will ensure compliance by our staff with the strictest standards of security and confidentiality.

2.Collection of Personal Data

Your privacy is of great importance and we have taken steps to ensure that we do not collect more information from you that is necessary for us to provide service to you and to protect your account.

We may ask you to provide personal information when you use our website and services. The personal data that we may ask you to provide include without limitation to salutation, name, telephone number, email address and residential and work address (“Personal Data”).

Please note that it is mandatory for you to provide certain categories of Personal Data (as specified at the time of collection). In the event that you cannot provide any Personal Data marked as mandatory, we may not be able to provide service to you.

3.Safety of Personal Data

All reasonable efforts are made to ensure that any personal data held by us is stored in a secure and safe place, and accessed only by our authorised employees or authorised Third Party Service Providers.

You should be aware that no system is impenetrable and no information provided over the Internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure. In view of this, we cannot guarantee the security of any information that you transmit to us or receive from us through the Internet.


We may amend or update this Privacy Policy from time to time and all information will be governed by our most recent Privacy Policy, available on our website at

5.Force Majeure and Bad Weather

We will not be held liable or responsible for any failure to perform or delay in the performance of the Services caused by Force Majeure.

Force Majeure means any unforeseeable circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to war, threat of war, terrorism, strikes or other industrial action, riots, fire, storms or any other natural disaster, failure in the telecommunications networks, power cuts, traffic conditions, road closures, accidents or any other unforeseen circumstances.

To avoid confusion, the hoisting or issuing of a Red or Black Rainstorm Warning or a Tropical Storm Warning of Signal No.8 or higher shall also be considered a Force Majeure. In such situations, all Services and Deliveries shall be immediately cancelled. Services and Deliveries shall resume as soon as it is practically and safely possible to do so once such Warnings have been lowered or removed.

In the event of a Force Majeure, we will make our greatest effort to contact you as soon as possible and will take all reasonable measures to minimize disruptions to the Services.

6.Storage of Goods

Please be acknowledge that Meta will not be responsible for disconnecting or reconnecting appliances, fixtures or equipment; Goods stored must not include prohibited, illegal, stolen, perishable or flammable items.

In addition, we strongly advise that you should not store any official personal documents into our Boxes (such as passports, drivers licenses, ID cards, etc.) or anything that contains personally identifiable information, such as date of birth or bank account number. This is not an exhaustive list of personally identifiable information. Essentially, do not put anything into the Boxes that contain information that can be used to steal someone’s identity or a document that you may urgently need at a moment’s notice. By executing this Agreement, you understand and agree that if you proceed to store official documents or items containing personally identifiable information, you waive all rights and claims against Meta arising in any way from storing these items.


Meta provides the Website on an “as is” and “as available” basis with all faults. Meta does not guarantee that use of the Website will be error-free or uninterrupted or that any defects will be corrected.

Meta will provide the Services with reasonable care, skill and substantially as described in this Agreement. Meta does not make any other promises or warranties about the Services.


We reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of this Agreement from time to time and it is your responsibility to review these terms and conditions on each occasion you procure Services from us. The latest version of this Agreement will always be accessible at Your continued use of our Services will be deemed to represent your continued acceptance to the latest version of this Agreement.

Each party shall keep any and all information disclosed between the parties to this Agreement in strict confidence. This clause shall survive the termination of this Agreement.

In case of any disputes, Meta reserves the right to make the final decision.
